I was in a house with a bunch of relatives. My mom was there, my maternal grandmother and grandfather were there. There were some other people that I don't think I knew. I believe they were friends of my grandparents. I remember that my grandpa was laying down in a bedroom at the end of the hall. I think everyone though he had died. I was sitting in the room in a rocker next to his side of the bed where he lay very still. It was not dark out but it was dim. I don't believe there were any lights on in the room. I think I may have been talking or reading to him. Finally I decided to leave. As I left the room I turned back and said "goodnight grandpa" and as I walked out he said back to me "goodnight!". I remember feeling astonished as if he had come back from the dead. I told eveyone and they were all very excited. My mother came up to me and just said "thank you!" and looked so happy that I woke him up, or come out of a coma or whatever was keeping him the way he was. I remember thinking that I didn't really do anything special but I felt very happy too. As if I finally got to talk to him after all of these years.
After a bit we all went outside. It was winter because there was snow on the ground. We were all following each other in a line, headed somewhere I don't recall. I remember having a snow shovel and using it to clear the icy snow from the walk. It was a lot of work. I remember getting to one part of the sidewalk where it was a cliff type dropoff on one side and the grass then street on the other side. It was sunny outside but must have been cold since we were all wearing winter coats.
I wish I could remember the rest because it was equally bizarro.
Okay, I also remember being in a downtown. It was night. I was headed up to a room where a friend lived. I had to climb up some crazy ladder to get to the door. I remember there were two young people in the apartment. They were alone. I think I was rescuing them from some bad situation. I think one was happy and the other was not.
